Cinque Terre
The Cinque Terre (The Five Lands) is the name given to five small towns on the Liguric Sea: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. What is amazing about them is that they are built into the mountainside on cliffs that drop down into the sea. The walk on the coast from Riomaggiore to Manarola, called "Via dell' Amore" (The Love Street) is very beautiful.
