Death Valley is an unusual, amazingly beautiful place, almost from another world. It made me realize how easily we take everything for granted, when being at Dante's View (one of the highest points in the park, giving you a nice view of the whole valley), I read a couple of words written on one of the touristic panels. I don't remember the exact words, it was saying something like "Look around at all the mountains and the valley. Now look again and imagine them with vegetations and trees and imagine down a lake. To get that, all you need is water." I think I never realized before how fragile we are and how much life depends on water (maybe I got some idea from Dune:)).

What I liked the best? I liked everything, the Artists Pallete beautiful colors, the sunrise at Zabriskie Point, the view of the valley from Dante's View, the dunes. However, I will say that my favourite was the trip from the Golden Canyon to the Zabriskie Point just because I like hiking so much.
