My software

JavaScript filtering for IJB: I've modified the Internet Junkbuster to support the filtering of JavaScript. I'm currently working on incorporating some of the other patches individuals have made and re-writing my patch.
regen_mh_sequences.pl: A tool to (re)generate the .mh_sequences file. This is useful when transitioning from mutt-1.2.x to mutt-1.3.x because the new version depends on this file while the old version didn't update it.
Currently uses hgrep.
Macros for Vim: I use Vim as my editor of choice. As such, I've created a few macro sets to use for latex, bibtex, HTML, etc.

Grabcartoons: A perl script that prepares a comics page for you every day. I've been dubbed "Chief Grabcartoonist" for the project.

Patches for GBuffy

Diego wrote some patches for GBuffy - a GTK+ multi-mailbox version of biff. These patches are for GBuffy-0.2.2.

I rewrote the patches to work with GBuffy-0.2.4. There is a problem with Diego's patch for unseen-sequences if you use mixed MH and non-MH mailboxes.

Patch 1 - Fixes an error for messages without a subject.
Patch 2 - Allows GBuffy to work with MH's unseen-sequences. It also includes a command line option '--no-mh-unseen' to disable this behavior.

Patches for JPilot

JPilot is a desktop organizer application for Palm organizers that runs on most Unix platforms. These patches are for JPilot-0.98.

Patch 1 - Fixes a timeout that can occur when JPilot is copying your last archive. If you have a slow NFS connection or a lot of files, it will drop the connection between the sync and the backup.
Patch 2 - JPilot raises its message window every time it fetches a database. This is especially annoying on when your window manager changes to that virtual desktop each time.

Patches for igal version 1.2

igal is a perl script that allows one to quickly create a photo album from a collection of digital images.

Patch 1 - Adds a '-z' option that uses the captions as labels on the thumbnail page. (Thanks to Sofie for her help with this one.)
Patch 2 - Adds a '--bigxy' option which allows you to specify a maximum size for both dimensions. (e.g. '--bigxy 400' means that the largest dimension will be 400 pixels in size.)
Combined Patch - Adds both of the features described above.
